I recently had a powerful conversation with a client who perfectly captured this feeling. She was beating herself up for not being able to dedicate as much time and energy to her fitness as she used to. That's when we talked about the concept of "bandwidth."

Think of bandwidth like the amount of energy and focus you have available each day. When life is calmer, with fewer demands, you have more bandwidth to dedicate to your goals. You can meal prep, hit the gym regularly, and prioritize self-care.

But what happens when life throws curveballs? A demanding project at work, a family emergency, or simply a season of increased stress can significantly shrink your bandwidth. Suddenly, those fitness goals feel impossible to reach.

  • Prioritize Ruthlessly: What really matters? What small steps can you take today to move towards your goals? Even 15 minutes of exercise or one healthy meal is progress.

  • Schedule Strategically: Block out time in your calendar for fitness, even if it's just a short walk or a quick home workout. Treat these appointments as non-negotiable.
